Frequently asked

The honest answers before you call.

No filler, no hedging. The eight questions new patients actually ask — insurance, cleanings, same-day crowns, implants, Invisalign cost. If your question isn't here, call us and we'll add it.

Frequently asked

Eight things we get asked every week.

Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most PPO plans — Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, BlueCross BlueShield, UnitedHealthcare, and Guardian. We are not in-network with HMO/DMO plans, but we'll happily file as an out-of-network provider. We file the claim for you either way — you don't deal with paperwork. Call with your member ID and we'll verify benefits in under five minutes.
How often should I get a cleaning?
Twice a year for most adults, every three to four months if you've had periodontal (gum) disease treatment. Kids should come every six months starting at age 1. If you're a smoker, pregnant, diabetic, or have a history of cavities, we may recommend three cleanings a year — we'll tell you honestly at your exam.
Do you do same-day crowns?
Yes. We have in-office CEREC milling. A single-tooth crown takes about 90 minutes total — digital scan, milling on-site, bonded same visit. No temporary crown, no second appointment, no second injection. Larger cases (bridges, multi-unit work) still require a follow-up.
Are dental implants worth it?
For replacing a single missing tooth, almost always yes. Implants don't decay, don't damage adjacent teeth (the way a bridge does), and last 25+ years with normal care. The catch is upfront cost ($3,200-$4,800 per implant including crown) and a 3-6 month healing window. For multiple missing teeth, we'll walk through implant-supported bridges vs. All-on-4 vs. partial dentures — they all have honest tradeoffs.
What's the cost of Invisalign?
Our Invisalign cases range $4,500-$6,500 depending on complexity (number of trays, refinements needed, whether attachments are required). The average case is about 11 months. We're an Invisalign Diamond Plus Provider — top 1% nationwide — so we handle complex cases other offices refer out. CareCredit financing available with 0% APR for 12 months on cases over $1,000.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — most new patients are seen within a week, and Saturdays book out about three weeks in advance. New-patient appointments are 75 minutes: thorough exam, full digital X-rays, periodontal evaluation, oral cancer screening, and a sit-down to walk through findings with photos. No pressure, no commitment.
Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?
Yes. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is free at any chair on request — wears off in five minutes, you can drive home. Oral sedation (a pill taken an hour before) is $185 and requires someone to drive you. IV sedation is available for longer surgical procedures via our visiting anesthesiologist. We'll discuss which is right for you at the consult.
What if I have a dental emergency outside business hours?
Call our main line — the message routes to the on-call dentist. We return urgent calls (severe pain, knocked-out tooth, swelling) within 90 minutes, 24/7. For non-urgent issues (lost crown without pain, small chip), we'll see you first thing the next business day.
